The Role: Based from their Essex offices when not out with clients or your team, the new UK General Manager will be responsible for managing a team of nine direct and dotted line reports, as well as spending much of your time managing a portfolio of national accounts in the grocery and high street sector. You will be working with a skilled workforce which brings passion and experience to every game they make, getting involved with supporting local sales managers, developing and converting new business and holding full promotional and P&L responsibility for the UK operation.

The Company: With over a century of tradition behind them and a European sales turnover approaching €400 million, this company is the category market leader. They produce a wide range of playing cards and board games and are now looking to recruit a UK General Manager after promoting the last incumbent to a Chief Sales Officer role.

For this UK General Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Exceptional sales skills
  • You will have a significant track record of managing a sales team within the FMCG marketplace
  • Candidates must have managed national retail accounts at head office buyer level
  • Professional and driven candidates who are always looking for more success
