KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER - SOUTH EAST

As a leading supplier of premium products within the FMCG sector our client knows what it takes to continually produce top quality products. You'll see their offering  in your home and across many diverse channels within the high street and out of home arenas, partnering with some of the biggest names in the UK. Our client provides a unique and high end offering to their customers and in keeping with their progressive identity they are currently looking to recruit a high potential Key Account Manager as a result of an internal promotion.

THE ROLE

As a Key Account Manager you'll be taking on a  role that is integral to the continued success of this leading household FMCG brand.  You'll have your own bespoke customer base that will be your sole responsibility, and its straight forward, you'll drive mutually beneficial relationships with your customers so as to make sure that our clients products are a core part of their portfolio and success. 

We're not saying it will be easy, you'll be working independently for pretty much most of the time and that  requires a certain level of self-motivated, plus the ability to manage your own hours effectively to the  max. But don't worry you'll really not be doing it all on your own, you'll be part of a bigger team  working with colleagues cross-functionally to support you and help you grow your business.

THE CANDIDATE

Goes without saying this is a challenging role, this question is are you up for it? Are you resilient and tenacious? Do you  have proven sales experience? Are you good on the important detail? Are you looking for a career rather than another sales job?

The successful candidate will have;

• Previous sales experience
• Proven customer relationship management
• Customer forecasting
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrate drive, enthusiasm and potential to progress
• Proven negotiation skills
• Ability to work efficiently individually and as part of a team
