Category Manager – Personal Care

A Global leading FMCG business based in the South East is looking for a highly ambitious and strategic Category Manager to lead the Personal Care portfolio for Grocery / High Street customers. Here you will work closely with the Commercial Director in formulating and implementing plans to continue their successful growth.

The Role:

The role will involve working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams identifying areas to approach from a brand and channel perspective. You will also liaise externally with Buyers and Merchandisers to provide further insight into other growth avenues.

Shopper Insight and Category expertise will also be key when putting plans and strategies in place; this will be achieved through working cross functionally with the wider team whilst maintaining external relationships with the key customers. You will also analyse the market to really understand the competitor and use market data to underpin the key drivers of growth.


The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have previous experience with in FMCG Category Management with knowledge of multiple product categories within Personal Care across grocery / highstreet. Able to identify and deliver strategic plans whilst maintaining the ability to work in a fast passed and autonomous environment. Have strong internal and external relationship building and communication skills.
