Salary: Up to £35K based on experience plus company car/ allowance + benefits
Location: Based in Yorkshire/ North East
We are currently looking for a National Account Manager to work with one of the leading soup producers in the country. This family owned business have been making a wide variety of top quality products since 2004 and have experienced fantastic growth YOY which they intend to continue. They focus on using only the best ingredients resulting in soup that not only tastes great but is healthy. Their products can be found in many of the top grocers as well as smaller boutique shops around the country.
The National Account Manager role will include dealing with existing customers including Tesco, Morrisons and Booths. As well as maintaining and improving upon the relationships with their current client base, the successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying and then breaking into new potential channels.
The company are looking for someone with a real passion for food- a “genuine foody”. A proven track record working with at least one of the leading multiple grocery accounts would be preferred, although individuals with relevant experience in closely related channels would also be considered. The successful candidate needs to be a highly motivated, dedicated individual with an excellent commercial knowledge of negotiation, project management and presentations skills whilst demonstrating the desire and passion to work in a smaller, fast paced business.
