The Role: An extremely well established player in the B2B merchant market backed by a global group based in Coventry are looking for a Category Assistant to join their team due to internal promotion. As the Category Assistant for this large category You will be expected to hit the ground running, be a self-starter who is keen to learn and develop in a Category role. You will have previous experience working with suppliers, data analysis, I.T skills especially with Excel, supporting campaigns and Adhoc administration. Responsibilities for the position of Category Assistant include:

• Reporting into the Senior Category Manger
• Data reporting
• Price changes
• Supporting Promotions and Marketing campaigns
• Adhoc Administration.

To be considered for this role you must have:

• Previous experience in Category or Marketing (Tangible Product)
• Strong Excel skills
• Eye for detail
• Analytic experience
• Self-starter, results orientated, team player

The Package for Category Assistant

• Salary: £20,000-25,000 + Pension + 25 days Holiday + discounts
