Catmanjobs.com was created in 2006 as a specialist division specifically supporting category, shopper and net revenue professionals.  The brain child of Paul Nyman who realised at the time “we just didn’t know enough about category management and how it affects a business”.  Catmanjobs operates as a division of  Paul Nyman Consultancy, which was established in 2004 to support wider FMCG recruitment markets, after Paul was made redundant, and toured the UK recruitment market seeking employment to pay the mortgage.

During this journey he identified some of the most important characteristics for job seekers hunting for a new role:
