Business Account Manager

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join our team based at Atherstone. Your role will be to develop and deliver sustained profitable growth for a specific customer base.

As Business Manager a key element of this role will be to create and fulfil customer specific account plans to grow sales in line with company strategy and targets.  You will formulate and implement promotional plans, in line with sales forecasts, to contribute to the delivery of strategic goals.

Maintaining close working relationship with key customers, you will build market and competitor knowledge to identify and pro-actively satisfy their requirements for development of potential new business opportunities.

The Business Manager will participate in process development working closely with the customer to create mutually beneficial solutions.

You will provide information and insight to your customer and the production team to promote effective delivery of current customer requirements in addition to also considering potential future developments.

Of graduate calibre, you will have strong business acumen and have a background of working in a similar environment.  Experience within an FMCG environment is preferred and a basic understanding of Category Management would be useful.

The Atherstone site sits within the Food To Go and produces Sandwiches and wraps for leading retailers. The site employs 600+ people and has been an established part of the local community for a number of years.
