The ability to understand how people act in the retailers, what drives purchasing behaviour, and what are the key promotional triggers is being taken to the heart of their commercial strategy.

70% has a focus on syndicated and continuous data sources, therefore experience with Nielsen, Kantar or IRI is important. BUT, knowledge of ad-hoc consumer studies will come in very handy, as this is a hybrid vacancy that also works in ecommerce and media.

- Strategically minded – ability to distinguish long term opportunities as well as the short term wins
- Action orientated – can build recommendations that are implemented, and drive change
- Influencing – up to C level in the sales and marketing teams
