Role – Area Sales Manager x2 (B2B) – FMCG

Location – 1 x Midlands/Lincolnshire, 1x Scotland

Salary – £35,000 - £45000 + uncapped commission + company car + benefits

Are you a high performing sales person that loves daily face to face interaction with your customer base? Our client, a UK based manufacturer of high-quality printing and coding machinery is seeking two passionate, confident, outgoing and energetic Area Sales Managers (one based in Scotland, one based across East Mids & Lincolnshire) who can demonstrate a proven track record in growing a regional or national account base.

Due to succession planning these positions have the distinct possibility to grow into a UK Head of Sales position within the next 12-18 months.

The business, who sell their range of Laser Printing and Continuous Ink Jet Printing Technologies throughout the UK and Internationally, are not fixated on an industry specialist. You don’t need to be an expert in their technology to be considered. Any why not? Well, because they believe in their product training and that their onboarding process will give you all the industry expertise that you need. This training has helped them achieve double digit revenue growth for the last 5 years!

They currently sell their impressive range to manufacturing businesses primarily within FMCG but also across Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics and Electronics. Prior experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales to these markets would certainly be an advantage but is in no way essential. So, in that case, what is essential??

-          Proven track record in sales growth (history of exceeding targets etc) in B2B sales environment… TOP PERFORMERS ONLY

-          Experience of generating leads, winning accounts and identifying sales opportunities

-          Drive, Passion and enthusiasm (bags of the stuff!)

-          A desire to move on into a bigger role (that UK Head of Sales is a genuine prospect…)

-          Must be based in either Scotland, Midlands or Lincolnshire to be considered (sorry but we really won’t look at people outside of this for now!)

You will be supported by a fantastic team of engineers, product managers and business development executives, the latter of which will be responsible for filling your diary with appointments.

Due to the company’s excellent reputation in this field there is outstanding scope for growth across both new and existing customers.

You will be rewarded with a highly competitive basic salary in the region of £35,000 - £45000 (maybe more if you are THAT good), an uncapped bonus/commission structure, company car, pension and various flexible benefits.
