National Account Manager - Grocery - disruptive start-up brand
Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturer of snacking products that have had unrivalled growth over the past 4 years. Both in the branded and own label market they have developed a unique portfolio of products that have gained recognition not just in the UK but in Europe and further afield. As a business they have a simple aim; to provide great quality and innovative products to their consumers. Due to a structure change in the commercial team an exciting opportunity has arisen to bring on a National Account Manager.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the main purpose of this role will be to manage a portfolio of Grocery accounts including Tesco, JS and Waitrose. You will have overall responsibility for all of these but a real focus will be put on Tesco due to its strategic importance for the business. You will be the sole contact in terms of commercial development, whilst being fully P&L responsible. This role will involve managing both the companies branded and own label products. You will have accountability for the day to day running of all aspects of the account including forecasting, pricing, liaising with buyers and future account development.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a dynamic, up and coming commercial professional who wants to further their career. You will come from an FMCG background with 2-5 years' National Account Management experience in the industry working on high profile Grocery accounts. Management of Top 6 Grocery accounts and previous P&L experience are both essential. You will be a self-motivated and driven individual with a proven track record of achievement showing quick progression through your career. The role is home based with offices located in West London.
