Job Details

Do you want the opportunity to work for a fantastic privately-owned food business that has been established in their market for over 25 years? If you have an extensive FMCG sales background within the UK and International market and enjoy travel as an element of your role, please be in touch.

My client’s two main categories are Savoury and Home Baking. They partner with incredibly well known brands to collaborate and bring their products to the market. They work across a wide range of products in the ambient sector and their range covers branded and own label. They are incredibly customer and consumer focused and aim to always deliver excellent service. They are value led and believe every individual who comes into the company should be driven, ambitious and share their passion for food.

Your main focus will be to support the Company’s significant ambitions to grow its business. You will be responsible for developing the existing distributor relationships and you will both identify and secure new customers in line with their strategy. The customers they wish you to develop sit across both the Domestic and International markets. Initially you will also manage the relationships with new UK customers until ready to transition the account over to the appropriate National Account Manager, in line with agreed timescales.

You will be a commercially strong Account Manager across a range of sectors, in particular Foodservice and Wholesale. Is it essential that you have a strong International cultural awareness and will have ideally managed International distributors over your career. You will be based out of their Oxfordshire office three days a week and you will be expected to travel in both the UK and Internationally. When in the office you will work very closely with internal functions and you will report into the Sales Director.
