A superb and unique opportunity has arisen to join a young, successful premium spirit and liqueur company as Business Development Manager. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to develop and shape your own position, this could be the role for you.

THE COMPANY. Established in 2013 we have a truly unique range of spirits and liqueurs, all made by ourselves using our own sweet potatoes.

We have an award winning portfolio of spirits and liqueurs, all made with our own sweet potatoes here in England. (They are all Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian). Trade and consumer feedback and take up has been immensely positive and already our distribution is nationwide, from specialist drinks retailer’s to e-commerce platforms, farm shop’s and independent retailers. We actively promote our brand via an extensive events calendar each year spreading the word about our portfolio and selling direct to consumers. We also regularly attend high profile trade shows in both the on and off trade to engage key mixologists, bartenders and buyers to be part of our journey.

Our portfolio and business is growing at pace and we look forward to welcoming an ambitious Sales Executive into the team. Full training will be provided across market sectors.

THE ROLE. As Business Development Manager, you will be selling our award winning portfolio into both new and existing accounts within a defined geographical area. You will be calling on both on trade and off trade accounts within the region. You will be provided with a strong current accounts list, but as this is a new position you will have the opportunity to increase and build your own account base through proactive prospecting for new business.

THE PERSON. To be considered for the role, you must have previous sales experience, preferably within the FMCG/fine foods sector, ideally selling a product with a premium positioning. Previous On-trade experience would also be an advantage although we will consider someone who has abilities from outside of these areas. Most importantly will be your mind-set, enthusiasm and drive: being people orientated, eager to learn and develop with a proactive “can do” attitude are the key traits we are looking for and will lead to success for the incoming candidate.
