Senior Business Analyst – East Yorkshire - £45-50k Plus Excellent Package

A great opportunity has arisen within a leading wholesaler situated in East Yorkshire. This business is now looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their trading team.

We are looking for a qualified accountant to support on trading performance. This Senior Business Analyst role requires someone who can understand all factors that affect the trading functions performance and who can push hard to implement changes to improve performance within categories and lead the analysis on price and promotions.

Reporting into the Head of Trading and Category Management, the Senior Business Analyst will be required to report to executive management on price position, promotional effectiveness, category profitability and own brand performance.

You will also be involved in the following:

  • Provide insight and quality commentary for exec team
  • Communicate clearly to all stakeholders
  • Manage the implementation of a pricing policy for the trading team to adhere to and challenge any nonconformance.
  • Review internal processes and suggest, agree and implement improvements
  • Contribute to the management of the training support function.
  • Proactive building of relationships with buying and retail teams.

Preferred Senior Business Analyst skills and experience:

  • Qualified accountant by relevant qualification- ACCA/ACA/AAT/CIMA or by experience.
  • Good technical, database and numerical skills
  • Ability to manage the team in order to meet with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
