Key Account Manager – Wholesale – Coffee Industry
£28,000 - £32,000 + Company Car + Bonus + Benefits
Field Based – National (Ideally based South / Midlands)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading coffee businesses. They grow and roast all of their own coffee sourced ethically from the world’s most renowned regions. The company produces a number of fantastic retail brands and also provides a full coffee solution including ingredients, equipment and on-going maintenance to the Out of Home channel. Their customer base ranges from the UK’s most instantly recognisable high-street restaurant brands and top grocery retailers to high-end fine dining establishments. They are now looking to recruit a new Wholesale Key Account Manager to drive new business and manage existing customers.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Driving coffee sales across the Wholesale sector – focusing on key members of groups such as Country Range, Todays, Landmark, Bidfood and Brakes
- Set the strategy for the territory management team, identifying profitable sales opportunities and generating leads for equipment sales
- Perform a mixture of existing account management and new business development
- Work closely with category and insight teams to identify leads and industry trends
- Develop a robust strategy for growing the wholesale channel over the next 3 years
In order to be considered for this exciting position it is important that you have strong experience working within the coffee industry OR have worked in a sales position focused within the Wholesale / Cash & Carry channel. You will be an ambitious individual who is driven to make an impact in a newly created position that offers a genuine opportunity to develop a business unit in the future.
