Are you an experienced Commercial Sales Manager with a background in the export arena? Do you have a food/branded background? Do you enjoy the challenge of opening doors to new international customers and growing export business? If so, we want to hear from you.
About Our Client:
Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of a mixture of branded and own label food products. They have a great reputation for developing new and exciting products of great quality and appeal to their customers. They supply all of the major retailers in the UK, and as part of an international business, they see further potential for growth in the global markets. They are in a good place, consistently growing top and bottom lines.
About the Job:
This role will focus on sales and profitable business to the retailers and distributors in Europe and further a field. You will be able to utilise your network and experience to open doors to key decision makers in the European and international markets. You will understand the nuances of different international territories and markets to deliver commercial results and help drive the business forward. You will work autonomously but also be comfortable working with the wider team to identify the correct products to market and any areas of potential growth. You will be comfortable presenting to retail buyers, distributors and business owners to secure listings, drive sales and deliver commercial results.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the international market having driven sales within multiple territories and channels. Ideally you will have experience in the sales of branded food products. Due to the nature of the role you will need to be flexible to travel when not working out of the offices based in Peterborough. You will be a strong communicator, a real influencer and have a good work ethic.
Minimum Requirements:
Due to the niche nature of this role you will need to have proven experience in sales to international channels within food/FMCG products. You will need to have the flexibility to be able to travel.
