An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growth orientated branded food business. We are currently recruiting an Account Executive to support across the major retailers. The company performance has been strong; with their brands in high growth and very much on trend! Building on a solid platform and trade position, they are looking for a Account Executive to play a key role in supporting the National Account Controller to deliver 2019 growth plans

This is a classic grow role where your role and responsibilities will develop quickly. Initially you will be responsible for managing all the account administration from retailer systems, invoicing, new line forms, etc; to delivering key insights through analysing sales and promotional performances. You will work closely with the National Account Controller supporting in the running of the accounts through the monthly S&OP process and work across the business with Finance, Category and Supply/demand planning contacts to ensure delivering excellence.

You will gain some fantastic experience and development within the role assisting the National Account Controller for Waitrose. In time you will personally take on customer facing relationships within the retailer and within 12-18 months they would expect you to be a full National Account Manager role with your own accounts.

We are looking for the following profile:

  • A passionate, proactive, confident commercial person
  • with 12-24 months experience within a FMCG sales or commercial environment
  • smart, and good at spotting trends and presenting recommendations
  • great at generating and building commercial relationships
  • experience in or a demonstrable passion for sales
  • passionate about working within a branded food business environment
  • eager to learn and develop!
