As the UK’s largest cheese and dairy-based ingredients supplier we are looking for an ambitious, talented National Account Manager to join our Leeds team and continue to deliver excellence to the food manufacturing, retail and food service industries.   Our order book is strong and recent successes mean we will see further volume increases into 2018 and beyond.

With an existing account portfolio of some of the biggest blue chip names in the industry you will be a key member of the UK commercial sales team targeted to deliver and where possible exceed our projected growth targets. 

Previous account management and sales experience in the dairy or B2B ingredients sectors is essential.  You will have a detailed understanding of the dynamics of the markets in which we operate as well as our customer base and their cheese or dairy product needs.  You will use this experience to drive sales and margin growth and gain competitive advantage in both new and existing accounts, whilst maintaining our excellent levels of customer service and product innovation. 

With strong back office and systems support you will work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure samples, product development, finance and quality service levels are maintained.  You will contribute to the development of budgets for your area of responsibility and provide monthly forecasts of revenue and volume to assist operational planning and monitor account performance. 

This is a position where the ability to build and develop customer relationships in a price sensitive, competitive and volatile commodity market is critical.  Self-motivated, driven by results and with exceptional negotiation skills you will deliver targeted volume and margin within your customer base and continue to deliver business growth.  Ideally you will have relevant commercial experience selling within the convenience food manufacturing sector, with dairy knowledge a distinct advantage. This is a UK role requiring a full driving license and regular travel to the Leeds office.
