The Role

We are looking for an excellent National Account Manager with a result driven approach, and proven ability to deliver commercial success and national listings with grocery accounts.

If you are looking for an exciting career opportunity to work for a strong and successful agri-food brand, this could be the perfect role for you.  This position is being created due to the huge growth in the company to date.

Mash Direct is a sixth-generation family farm with a fantastic portfolio of vegetable side dishes, a healthy pipeline of new product development (insert awards) and all of the tools that you will need to deliver against this ambition.

Of course, you will need to be able to build strong, mutual relationships with the customer, have strengths in negotiation, influencing and the strategic agility to develop a long-term strategy.

The Person

We recruit people who act like an owner, are comfortable taking calculated risks and who not only thrive in an environment of change but are the change agents for the rapid growth of Mash Direct. In addition, you will need;

  • To be educated to degree level or equivalent
  • The skills to manage budgets and/or revenue optimisation to deliver ROI
  • Grocery experience - ideally with Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda and/or Morrisons
  • Experience of deploying the fundamentals of category leadership to drive growth
  • Successful achievements as a NAM/SNAM
  • Ability to drive a high SKU range with flexibility & a consultative approach
  • High energy, passionate & drive to motivate themselves & others
  • Excel and Powerpoint should be bread and butter as the right candidate will be able to work with data to demonstrate what Mash Direct can bring to the category.

It may sound as if we ask for a lot. We do. So, what’s in it for me you might think? You’ll be working with a like-minded, talented group of individuals who want to win and have fun along the way.  Development and career progression are key. Then there’s remuneration, hopefully you’ll agree our salary package is competitive and reflective of the calibre we need in this role. The list goes on so why not visit our website, Facebook and Instagram to find out more about what life is like at Mash Direct.

This role is field based but there will be a requirement to be in our head office in Comber, County Down one or two days a month.

Benefits

  • Fully expensed company car + fuel card
  • Performance related bonus
  • Pension scheme
