Away from Home (AFH) is predicted to be one of the number 1 growth channel for the UK over the next 3-5yrs, with a strategy to unlock step changing Share and Revenue. This is a very exciting time to be joining PepsiCo and we are currently recruiting a Customer Business Manager who will be at the heart of unlocking our growth plans, focussed on Workplace, Restaurants, Cafes, Pubs and Culinary expansion.

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience working with Global Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) customers as a branded partner, providing essential career breadth in a strategic sub channel and growing section of market. The QSR's have strategic importance and sizeable revenue contribution, therefore the role provides high visibility within the UK and European Business units, with key short and long term initiatives to deliver.


Core Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for building and executing the AOP's of big name customers to deliver the volume and revenue targets for all 3 BU's aligned to channel growth plan.
  • Design and execute deep contact strategies with to integrate and establish PepsiCo as a key strategic partner
  • Own and lead best in class cross functional national account teams across insights, finance, shopper marketing, merchandising, eComm & supply chain to maximise existing customers through WCCE and the right commercial solutions
  • Build Long term strategic plan to double incidence and lead the execution
  • Design and execute commercial plans aligned to NRR targets
  • Partner with R&D, Corporate Affairs and Supply Chain to lead the QSR PWP agenda to identify opportunities and play a lead role in bringing solutions to market
  • Partner with Marketing teams to deliver against key marketing metrics to leverage QSR customers occasion to support brand building
  • Represent the UK as the lead ESSA market to share best practice to support the growth of less developed markets
  • Delivery of channel specific strategic initiatives e.g. ambient juice, Culinary, Premium PC
  • Lead role to play within the broader AFH team, supporting driving the best practice aligned to key raise the bar initiatives.



  • Requirements:
  • FMCG Sales background
  • Well-developed analytical skills, combined with strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Tableau (or an equivalent data management tool) would be desirable but not essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ambitious with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
  • Experience of networking to deliver results
  • Cross-functional experience in order to leverage Shopper/EComm/Brand/Merchandising
  • Driving change agenda's through businesses
  • Ability to influence and manage a large number of stakeholders
  • Experience of managing complex routes to markets
