Business Development Executive - East Midlands
We have just been retained by the fantastic Pipers Crisps Ltd to find a new Business Development Executive to go out and drive new business opportunities across independent food service accounts in the Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire territory.
They are a brand supplying a portfolio of tasty, premium products into pubs, delis, cafes, farm shops etc. and are progressing through a period of continued growth (30% YOY). Due to their expansion, they have identified the need to recruit an entrepreneurial and driven Business Development Executive to be on the road and increasing market share.
As a Business Development Executive, you will gain fantastic exposure to all aspects of FMCG sales, and develop a strong understanding of different systems and ways of generating different customer accounts across the food service channel.
Ambitious, motivated, and with some commercial experience already, you will be presented with the ideal opportunity to learn from an experienced team and manager whilst developing the necessary ‘hands’-on’ skill set needed to push your career to the next level and beyond.
This role is ideal for anybody happy to throw themselves in to a business environment where efforts and results are rewarded with swift career development opportunities.
Pipers are also in the process of being acquired by PepsiCo, which opens up substantial progression opportunities in the wider business (with zero restructuring in place).
The ideal candidate will come from a branded food background, with 2-4 years experience selling into independent foodservice accounts. You will need to be a quick learner, confident and have excellent presentation skills.
