National Account Manager – Foodservice

Up to £45k + Car

This is a truly exciting opportunity to work for a multi £billion global food group providing high quality branded and own label chilled and frozen food products to the UK's biggest Foodservice customers. As one of the leaders in their market place they represent innovation, quality, added value and delivery. Due to significant growth and internal restructuring we are now looking for an exceptional commercial manager who shares similar values, is excited by the growth potential in this role and has a true desire to drive successful customer relationships through the delivery of effective solutions to some of the largest QSR and fast food customers in the UK.

The Role:


Reporting to the Foodservice controller you will take ownership of the following:

  • Drive sales and profitability across all product categories within a portfolio of National foodservice customers including major Distributors and End User customers.
  • Supporting the implementation of category initiatives, promotional activity and price negotiation.
  • Developing multi-level and cross functional relationships across the account portfolio.
  • Build, monitor and support the delivery of full Joint Business Planning

The Person:


  • Of graduate calibre with experience of operating in a food FMCG environment supplying to major Foodservice customers
  • A proven track record of driving sales growth.
  • Experience of managing Fast Food/QSR/casual dining accounts would be an advantage
  • You will have had exposure to managing a range of accounts either in field sales or national accounts.
  • You will be able to demonstrate financial and commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • A self motivated individual, you will be able to display strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both internal and external teams.
