For this Business Development Manager role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Food service experience
  • Business to business sales background
  • New business ability and drive
  • Driving license


The Role: The Business Development Manager will be representing the largest independent fresh fish supplier in the UK. Working across Southern Home Counties, you will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business. Targeting the food service market; restaurants, hotels and bars - both chains and independents, you will typically deal with buyers, chefs and business owners, self-generating leads and networking. Accounts won will be retained.

The Company: Our client is a seafood wholesaler, established for over 100 years! They provide the freshest, coastal fish to the food service marketplace. Their products are never artificially treated or excessively handled. Supplying the best quality, cost effective fish is at the heart of what they do. They also deal with retailers and offer specialist services for Japanese cuisine.

Benefits of this Business Development Manager role:
  • Up to £35,000 basic salary, plus 2% of overall sales = 10,000 commission (uncapped)
  • Full benefits package includes car allowance, laptop, mobile and pension
