The combination of mergers and organic growth, this award winning global leader is now looking to hire a category manager into the team.

Reporting into the category director, your role is to work with the number one grocery account to maximise sales instore via a credible category strategy.  With strong retailer relationships and being at the forefront of NPD, the business going from strength to strength. It is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced category marketer to join the business at a time when category is playing more of a pivotal role in the overall business strategy.

This is a high profile role in the team, and the opportunity for quick progression is very apparent for the right candidate.


Role

Role Working as a Category Manager within the grocery channel this role will be responsible for devising the category strategy to take to the major retailers, gaining their buy in and building solid


Person

You will be an experienced Category Manager with a background working in an FMCG environment, preferably within a branded business and with at least one of the top 4 grocers. Insight will have played a part in your previous or current role(s) and you will have the ability to turn data in to succinct and compelling actionable recommendations. You will be a natural relationship builder with experience of being customer facing. An ability to influence upwards both internally and externally and think strategically, looking at the bigger category picture are essential. All successful individuals will be passionate and driven with a real ‘can do’ attitude and team working mentality
