Paul Nyman Consultancy are recruiting a National Accounts Controller on behalf of a leading FMCG branded and private label manufacturer.

 About The Business 

Our client plays a leading role in what is a highly competitive category, where innovation and being first to market goes a long way towards achieving success. As a manufacturer of both branded and private label products, our client enjoys strong strategic relationships with a number of retailers.

About The Role 

As National Accounts Controller you will be charged with leading a team of 6 across the discount and impulse channels with a portfolio that spreads across brand and own-label. Specifically you will be responsible for planning, building, implementing and driving the 3-5 year strategic agenda. On top of your customer commitments this role requires someone who can lead and direct a team towards achieving their goals.

About You 

  • Senior Commercial FMCG experience within a team leadership role
  • It is essential you have a sufficient depth of experience working within the impulse and or value/discount channel, experience of the fixed price/heavy discounters would be a bonus on top
  • A background working in a business that manufactures both brand and private label would be a bonus
  • You will be able to operate in a fast paced, multi-functional environment where you will be required to work with multiple different teams on a daily basis
  • On a personal level you will be able to blend the ability to forge personal relationships with the capability to speak and push back where required, both internally and with the customer
