Introduction:

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Sales person within the food ingredients industry to work on a number of customer accounts whilst also developing new business

The Company: 

My client is a global, family owned ingredients business with a presence in over 100 countries. This business services a variety of categories with the food industry being one of the largest. 

The Role:

  • To partner with customer accounts and understand their current product range along with their limitations.
  • To increase NPD with customers by making recommendations to product lines and providing consumer insight to customers
  • To manage customer NPD projects from start to finish
  • Provide NPD forecasts and costings for customers
  • T develop business with new customers

The Candidate:

  • Educated to degree level within Food Science or similar
  • Experience working in an NPD/Technical Sales role would be ideal
  • Strong knowledge of technical ingredients and their functionality ie. Flavours, emulsifiers, texturisers and starches.
  • Project management experience
