A great opportunity for an ambitious and driven Brand Manager join a lively team within a major fast-paced FMCG business based in the North Home Counties (an easy commute from central London). Expect high levels of ownership, autonomy, good flexibility, lots of innovation and the chance to have a major impact at a business with a real commitment to putting marketing front and centre to meet the challenges of the current market.

Reporting into the Marketing Controller, this role has total ownership of a well-known, established brand with great opportunity for growth, plus additionally supporting the Marketing Controller with a second brand as well, particularly on NPD projects which you'll own, so you will be working on a portfolio activating various elements of the marketing mix and being involved in advertising development and media strategy discussions as well as championing the brand internally.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
  • Financials and business analysis: P&L, reporting, recommendations, analysis
  • Brand communications: lead all BTL activity, support ATL comms, manage budget
  • Innovation and Project management: deliver EPD projects, support innovation teams on longer term NPD projects
  • Brand Planning: implement the in-year marketing plan, develop 3 year brand strategy
  • Day to day brand and product management: ambassador for the brand portfolio and key day to day contact




You'll have at least 2-3 years of FMCG brand management experience including P&L management. Project management experience is a must and you'll need passion for marketing and brands, good commercial acumen, strong communication skills and lots of self-starting drive and can-do attitude. You must have FMCG experience.



This could be a step up for an experienced FMCG Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) or a move for an existing Brand Manager looking for more ownership and scope to develop.
