Our client is the foremost leader in its sector, growing a niche crop for the pharmaceutical industry. They grow continuously throughout the year, harvesting several times of year all for one particular customer.
Due to a restructure they are now looking to strengthen their team further particularly in the growing function.
This is an ideal role for an ambitious, hands on, hard working person with a passion for growing/farming who is looking to be in a senior management position within five years.

The role will be to ensure optimal growth conditions are maintained throughout the growing season using the available resources to deliver yields at the highest level and quality. You will be fully accountable for all nutrition & climate set points including venting, CO2 and energy saving systems and operational instructions for maximizing yield and quality whilst ensuring the Company SHE standards are maintained.
You will be tasked with building effective relationships with the in house growing team striving for continual improvement of yield.
You will be bright, enthusiastic and will have a high degree of practical skills such as spraying and fertigation etc and be mechanically minded and ideally have practical mechanical skills as well. FACTS and BASIS are desired.

We are looking for either a junior grower who wants to develop their career in this area of horticulture or someone who has more experience. Either way this is a great opportunity to develop your growing skills in a progressive and dynamic organization.
