Catman Jobs are recruiting a Senior Category Manager for a major food business in the Yorkshire. 

The Business

A UK food brand operating at the forefront of their ambient consumer focused category. With a massive growth agenda and future domination of the category within the retailers at the head of their strategy, this dynamic and commercially savvy FMCG business is now looking to complement their team with the appointment of a Senior Category Manager. 

The Role

They require a ‘big hitting’ category manager to further develop their strategic category insights and consumer understanding. Your ability to influence category direction through commercial and category rationale along with developing a strategic customer relationship is pivotal to the success of this role. 

The Individual

Your previous exposure to creating category plans and vision from the building blocks of EPOS, Neilson and Kantar, will be the foundations of your success in this role. Such practical skills will be supported with personal drive and ambition to develop new and retain existing  category captaincies across the major retailers. 

You must have shown clear growth and vertical development within your career to date with the ambition to progress further within a highly people focused but commercially driven environment.
