SENIOR NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
£55k - £65k basic salary, bonus and car allowance

The Role

We seek an experienced National Account Manager who is keen to develop and progress. Key focus will be the UK Grocery Retail sector. You will be seeking a new challenge, career progression and the opportunity to make an impact within a growing and market leading FMCG business.

Experience

You will have a minimum of 1-2 years National Account experience with major Grocery Multiples. This will have been gained within a branded FMCG business and you will need to show clear evidence of Sales and Margin growth, Category development and strategic Account Management.

Location

The role is a mix of home and office base and a home location in the Midlands, Eastern or South East England or Northern Home Counties will be ideal.

Key Objectives:

•    Proactive development of Grocery Retail accounts in the UK. 
•    Maximise Sales & Margin opportunities across an extensive branded product range
•    Drive range development and identify NPD with the Category management team   

Qualifications, experience and skills required:

•    A Graduate calibre FMCG National Account Manager 
•    A proven track record of business development within the UK Grocery Retail sector
•    Experience within a branded FMCG business
•    A Category Management sales approach
•    Ability to negotiate and influence at the highest level with customers and internal stakeholders
•    A keen commercial analyst
•    Accomplished, fluent and professional Presenter and Communicator
•    The drive, desire and ambition to progress career to the highest level
•    Possess the confidence to challenge the status quo, introduce new ideas and initiatives
•    Keen to have leadership responsibilities, take on more responsibility
•    Strong team player as the role with require extensive cross company liaison

My client is a market leading branded FMCG business with ambitious growth plans. Within their extensive Product range they retain dominant market leadership in two Categories but still have substantial opportunities for increased market share within the Grocery and other Retail/Online Channels.
