Job Details

  • The purpose of this role is to deliver the overall sales forecast and revenue targets through an assigned portfolio of national & regional accounts as well as establishing new contacts across all our concepts and categories.
  • To demonstrate category leadership in fulfilling our goal of being the partners of choice for retail food solutions within your customer contacts.
  • This is a National Account Manager role however, due to the nature of the business with its direct to store delivery arrangements, decisions over supply largely sit with the retailers. As a result this role is highly "hands on" managing from head office agreements through regional multiples and key retailers.
  • The portfolio will be a retail portfolio mainly within the Convenience & Forecourt sector however, the actual portfolio will be confirmed with the current team and successful applicants location/experience and capabilities in mind


Some duties and responsibilities will be
  • To create and develop business opportunities through key customer contacts across an assigned national account portfolio as well as working with associated regional contacts eg BDM's, Regional Accounts and key influential retailers.
  • If the business are working on a new head office contract you may also be required to take a lead role in developing new business opportunities and tenders.
  • Develop and execute an account plan identifying the key strategic priorities to win within your portfolio. To achieve and exceed the plan in order to optimise sales across symbols, convenience and forecourts to deliver the sales value target, margin forecast and budget.
  • Amplify and optimise the channel strategic plans within the accounts and contacts that you are responsible for, this would include development and retention of existing business, new business opportunities as well as the creation of a promotional plan including NPD, & listings where relevant.
