Category Manager - Grocery

In the UK, from their Northern based Head Office they have developed a strong reputation as Category leaders and have impressive relationships with the Top 4 Multiples. They invest significantly to understand the consumer and stay ahead of their competition. Innovation and investment above the line ensure their success and it is an exciting time to join their Category Management team.

You will join a vibrant Head Office team and in this important role you will drive the category strategy and agenda with both Asda and Morrisons. Taking insight and shopper data you’ll work closely with an impressive National Account team to develop solutions for each customer. Supported by strong brand activity and new product launches this category is in growth and there are close partnerships for you to build on.

You are a bright graduate with at least 3 years’ experience within a grocery retailer’s Head Office or in a Category Management role. You have worked with leading brands and best practice category management principles. You can take insight, data and trends and create compelling stories and arguments to enhance brand positioning, presence and sales. You are also able to think strategically, communicate effectively and influence others. Importantly in this role and in this progressive environment you will be given responsibility to drive change and develop your career.
