Our client is an industry food leader operating across an extensive range of categories. Through a total commitment to innovation, quality and people they have truly set the standard within Convenience foods. 

One of the largest business divisions is looking to appoint a Commercial Controller who will lead, manage and develop a hugely significant Asda business unit in the hundreds of millions together with some of the smaller but high growth Northern Accounts. This is be a supporting role to the overall Commercial Director taking a high profile and the delivery of a very important strategic and profitable customer to the group.

The key dynamics of the role 

• Total responsibility for revenue and account growth.
• New business opportunities and the execution of the JBP
• Structure development
• Key interface across all internal functions
• Leadership of the team – 5 +

• Broad commercial knowledge of the food markets ( Brands & OL)
• Credible commercial experience and training
• Natural leadership  and future potential
• Operational and cross functional experience
• Charismatic, driven and bright
