Our client is a market leading importer and distributor of ambient, high quality food products. They represent a number of very well-known brands across a variety of product categories and also have a thriving own-label side to their business. As a family run business with very strong history and heritage they can offer a great culture built on values, teamwork and integrity. The company supply all customer channels across grocery, convenience, wholesale and food service. An opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager to join the team managing some significant grocery retail accounts.
As National Account Manager reporting into an Account Controller you will undertake a varied, fast-paced role. You will manage a high profile customer base likely to include grocery and discount retailers. This person will be operating across a large portfolio of products across both branded and private-label. The role offers a mixture of account management and new business.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have previous national account management experience ideally having managed grocery or discount retailers in the food industry. You may currently be a National Account Manager looking to join a close-knit organisation where you are viewed as an integral member of the team. Our client is looking for someone ambitious and keen to progress their career therefore candidates looking to step up to this level will be considered. Prior experience to a distributor environment in the food industry would further strengthen your application. The role is home-based offering a great level of trust and autonomy.
