Job Details
The Buying and Merchandising division of Exsurgo is recruiting an Assistant Buyer for a Retailer with Horticulture or Fresh Produce category experience.
The Role
You'll join the Buying team and help manage the Horticulture category.The role of Assistant Buyer will be responsible for helping to ethically source an existing portfolio of lines, liaising with current suppliers and distributors to ensure best in class deals for the product range and working closely with Branding & Comms and Finance teams to deliver the best for the customers.
The Ideal Buyer Candidate
The successful individual will have proven commercial experience at an Assistant Buyer level and must have experience in Horticulture or Fresh Produce. You will have worked closely with a Merchandising team and worked within an Own Branded and Branded Buying role previously. You must be highly competent in Excel and other MS office functions and have previous Line Management experience.
