They now have an ambitious plan to significantly build upon their £40m turnover both through the introduction of exciting new products and also by growing substantially their UK and overseas markets.

Employing 400 worldwide but headquartered in the UK, this unique business designs and manufactures products in North Manchester yet operates international bases in Germany, France, the USA & China.

This new role will report directly to the Head of Sales

The National Account Manager Role:

+ To manage major national retail accounts with P&L responsibility.

+ Identifying and developing key growth opportunities within accounts to increase sales and  profitability

+ Protecting and developing existing contact relationships across all departments

+ Working with customers to provide correct forecasts to ensure high levels of customer service

+ Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction & engagement through a consistent service

The Ideal Candidate:

+ A sales professional with an exceptional level of business acumen & commercial awareness and a drive / hunger for winning sales and achieving success.

+ A track record of successfully managing growing business and profits with major national retail accounts. Ideally in non-food consumer goods products.

+ Computer literate and financially astute, with a good understanding of profit management, forecasting and trade spend fund management

+ Well organised with the ability to work across teams to understand all aspects of customer operations

+ Articulate with strong communication and presentation skills
