About the Role:

You will utilise your experience as a buyer to negotiate the best possible prices for the packaging required, which includes boxes, carriers, wrap and paper. You will be able to influence the innovation process and develop new and exciting ways to package products to appeal to customers. With peak periods you will be able to develop forecasts to ensure that you do not overbuy packaging but you will ensure you have sufficient stock to deliver on orders to all customers. Your experience in cost control and reducing expenditure without sacrificing availability and service will be key in your success within this fast paced role. You will receive first class training and career development with the opportunity to travel.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be in a similar packaging buying role within the fresh produce / FMCG sector. You will be able to demonstrate their negotiation, planning and forecasting skills. You will be energetic, driven and be a real team player. Experience in delivering product development and packaging innovation would be considered a real asset.

Minimum Requirements:

As a minimum, to be considered for this position you must have buying and packaging experience within the FMCG sector.
