National Account Manager
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic commercially aware National Account Manager, with our client a manufacturer and distributor of a large range of premium quality products to a range of caterers and food service businesses. They are a relatively young business and their appetite for growth is stronger than ever. Primarily focused on the foodservice sector, they are looking for a hands-on National Account Manager to focus on growing and managing their business within contract catering, travel, events and the major pub chains.
Hit your Sales, Gross Profit and % margins targets & ensure your report achieves their targets.
Search out new business and achieve expected GP for those customers.
Increase existing customers spend through first class account management and product knowledge
Ideally you will have 2-5 years' experience of managing national/key accounts with contract caterers.
Experience of managing complicated and "matrix structured" customers.
Comfortable engaging with customers and suppliers as well as internally across different departments.
A logical quick thinker, able to see several steps ahead and handle any issues which may arise efficiently while seeing them as a learning opportunity.
Organised and detailed focused enabling you to support your customers and the various departments within the business and ensure prioritization.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills to tell a pertinent message.
A team player who wants to enable the people around you, whilst being eager to learn from others.
Experienced in dealing with highly demanding customers.
