Our Client is a significant player in the food industry and is recognized as a leading business within this market. As part of on-going succession policy, they wish to appoint an experienced Supply Chain/Buying Manager to take their growth to the next stage.

The role will be to manage the team who procure from both the UK and globally. It is a fast paced environment as it is short shelf life food and so the purchasing function needs to be reactive and responsive, yet strategic in its outlook and tough in its negotiating. You will be organised, determined and a capable manager of a team which is at the heart of this organisation.
You ideally will have had experience of managing a team in supply chain or buying fresh produce globally. You will be keen to progress, and be looking for an opportunity to really move your career forward in a dynamic and forward thinking business.
