Job Details

Our client is a highly regarded insight consultancy who are experts in the field of food and drink. They provide a unique combination of expert intelligence in their space, providing comprehensive daily news coverage, together with essential analysis, market data, insight and trends for their prestigious list of clients.

In what is a pivotal hire for the company they are looking for a Client Services Director to manage their Client Services team and help to develop existing accounts. They want someone with an insight background who is great at client management, has team leadership experience and who's driven and wants to succeed. On the commercial side of things, whilst the main focus of the role will be around developing existing accounts, you will also be expected to pitch for business and bring in new accounts, so strong client pitching and proposal writing skills are essential.

In order to be successful in this role you will possess a strong track record of growing accounts and exceeding commercial targets, along with strong leadership as you will eventually be reporting directly to the Head of the company and be managing 8 direct reports once fully settled in. On the commercial side of things, whilst the main focus of the role will be around developing existing accounts, you will also be expected to pitch for business and bring in new accounts, so strong client pitching and proposal writing skills are essential. You will also ideally have an insight background and have an interest in the food and drink sector.
