Paul Nyman Consultancy are working with a leading FMCG manufacturer to recruit a Commercial Manager on M&S.
The business is a market-leader within their FMCG category with a strong passion for their products and have embarked on a strategic development program across their private label portfolio whilst investing in their brands. The business has major links with major retailers, discounters, impulse and wholesale customers and are looking to appoint a high-calibre Commercial Manager to ensure continual commercial growth within a strategic area for the business.
The role of Commercial Manager will involve working alongside a key strategic customer within their portfolio. The successful individual will be exposed to a wide range of Commercial duties, including holding responsibility for driving strategic growth across the retailer. The ability to make effective strategic decisions on a regular basis will be key to the success of this position. The successful individual will work as part of a team and have the ability to pull together a coherent Commercial, Category and NPD offering.
- Strong preference for someone who has a current/recent knowledge of working with M&S on a commercial basis
- Chilled experience is an essential requirement for this role
- Experience of working in a cross functional own-label environment
- This role will require 2 days (overnighter) in Scotland with flexibility from home/customer outside of that
