My client is a global alcohol company that employs more than 5,000 people worldwide and have recently selected the UK as a key growth area for their business. They have recently won huge number of awards for their wine, spirit, and cider portfolio and are one of the most successful drinks companies in the international arena.
Due to this expansion, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to manage and win new business in the Independent Free Trade channel in the designated region. You will be managing and in regular contact with regional wholesalers and specialist retailers. The company's UK operations are expanding rapidly and this role has great potential to progress in to key and/or national accounts.
To be successful in this role you will have a sound knowledge of the On Trade in your region and will have contacts both in this channel and regional wholesalers. You will be hungry, enthusiastic, and have the drive to prospect and win new business. A WSET level 2 is desired, although not essential.
