We are currently searching for a highly experienced Senior National Account Manager to join one of the UK's leading manufacturers of mother and baby products. Their varied range, a globally recognised brand, includes baby monitors, teething and feeding accessories and can be found throughout most UK supermarkets and high street retailers. This well-established business run offices in the UK, USA, France and Hong Kong with manufacturing facilities across the UK, Far East and Africa. The strength of their brand and the efforts of their valued workforce have led to significant growth in recent years, leading to this great new opportunity!

The role of Senior National Account Manager will involve the day to day management of two of the companies tope multiple grocer accounts. You will have full P&L responsibility for the accounts which currently comes to 12m. You will be fully responsible for the growth of the brand across the portfolio and channel. Additionally, you'll have the pleasure of managing two experienced National Account Managers, supporting and mentoring them to achieve their personal and business specific goals. As a business that is always looking to grow you will also be expected to explore any new business opportunities across channel where possible, identifying areas where the brand would best fit.

As a successful candidate, it is essential you have recent and up to date experience as a Senior National Account Manager or Commercial Manager with a focus on the grocery multiples - Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda or Morrison's preferred. As this is a senior position within the business you will be expected to be able to display strong leadership qualities and currently have your own direct reports. Experience of an FMCG product is ideal; this can be food or non-food or potentially even drinks; we are staying open minded on the product side of things as great training can be provided! What is also crucial is your personality and how you engage with your key customers; the company strive for results and play to win but also operate with a huge level of respect for colleagues, customers and competitors.

The role is based in the North East of England and therefore I must politely request that only candidates based in this region apply - North West and North Yorkshire may be feasible if you are willing to commute regularly.

You will be rewarded with a highly competitive basic salary up to 65k + a generous benefits package including car allowance and 25% bonus.
