The Chia Company grows Chia Seed in the pristine climates of Australia and Kenya . Chia is an ancient grain and is prized for its dense nutrition; it is the highest combined source of protein, fibre and plant based omega 3.

With offices in Melbourne, New York and the UK The Chia Company is a global business and continues to grow as the health and wellness sector gathers pace and has become the focus for the major retailers. The Chia Company now produces Chia Co branded products in both chilled and ambient categories and has an exciting pipeline of new products focusing on delicious healthy flavours with clean labels.

As a result of their continued growth The Chia Company is looking to appoint a Marketing Manager to further strengthen the team.

Reporting in to the UK General Manager, your attitude and approach to work are key. The business structure remains lean and fast and this role will not suit a marketer looking for a corporate structure; this is somewhere to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.

Your challenge would be to help drive category growth using insights and shopper marketing , manage a challenging innovation pipeline, deliver new packaging and product formats and drive brand activation, promotional initiatives and events. This is a role for a marketer who is passionate about innovation and healthy food; a marketer who understands the importance of authenticity of the brand and product quality in attracting and retaining consumer interest and engagement.

Our ideal candidate
In what is a challenging and unusual role, you will have probably worked in a brand management role for a couple of years, but now want to step up in to a more senior and rewarding role. The structure is very flat, so you will be part of a small team managing the marketing function, but this is a young and fast paced business…. You would not be bored!

This is a dynamic and successful business and this role will be challenging and demanding and so will enable the right candidate to develop their marketing and commercial skills.

The successful applicant will report to the General Manager and will ideally live within a commuter distance of Stamford, although for the right candidate the role could be London based with several days spent at the Stamford office.

The package includes a generous salary plus pension.
