This is a new opportunity for a highly driven Commercial Director to join a growing chilled food business.

Reporting into the Managing Director, this role is being created to bring strategic commercial thinking to the business.

The Commercial Director's core purpose is to ensure the business delivers a commercial plan to support the overall business strategy to achieve business growth within a complex multi-customer business.

As Commercial Director you will lead the Sales, Marketing, Category and NPD teams and pull together a commercial strategy that is owned by the whole Commercial Team and ensures that there is a proactive "pipeline" in place.

You will have strong relationships with Retailers at Senior Category level and have worked within the own label chilled food arena at some point in your career. A background in branded food manufacturing will give you the classical commercial training we are looking for.

This role offers great career progression for a bright and sharp thinker who is able to work across the breadth of the business.
