Job Details



The role
  • The Category Executive's role is to work closely with the Senior Category Manager, commercial, brand & shopper marketing teams and is pivotal to building these relationships with customers (internal/external) to own category understanding and unlock opportunities for growth
  • Be the first port of call for buyers, account managers and brand managers on category performance, opportunities and risks
  • Deliver key sector insight and development plans to support the on-going multi channel strategy
  • Ownership of retailer specific category plans and projects - range reviews, category analysis etc. through to implementation
  • Work with the relevant Brand & Commercial teams to deliver compelling NPD presentations to the retailer that has the Category insight and opportunity


Needed

  • Relationship building
  • Presentation skills
  • Passionate and can do attitude
  • Range and merchandising experience would be ideal but not essential
  • Has the drive and capability to transition into a category manager position in the near future
