National Account Manager

Reporting to the Business Unit Director, the National Account Manager will be joining one of the UKs most highly regarded Fresh Produce businesses based in Sussex. Due to outstanding year on year growth and ambitious growth plans within the organisation there is now a requirement for a National Account Manager to join the team, managing two key top 4 grocery accounts.
The key purpose of this role is to manage the agreed grocery accounts with the support of the Business Unit Controller. In addition to this you will be expected to proceed on all commercial opportunities to maximise the potential for sales growth and achievement of increased volumes.
- Development and achievement of increased sales growth.
- Managing the cost price analysis process and procedures.
- Setting and delivering on the customer business plans.
- Maintaining an accurate awareness and working knowledge of stock levels.
- Managing all aspects of the customer relationship.
- Complying with all company goals and initiatives.
The role requires at least 2 years national account experience as either a NAE or NAM, working within a dynamic FMCG environment. You must have managed / supported on a Top 6 grocery account, FMCG food experience is essential, and all candidates from an own label chilled, ambient and frozen background will be considered.
