European Sales Manager
A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong and successful Sales or National Account Manager with experience in Europe to join my client as their new European Sales Manager looking after the European Market. We are looking for someone who has experience of managing a distribution network within major European countries.
My client is a market leading consumer goods business with a global presence and are currently experiencing solid growth with potential to continue growing category share and increase their International presence.
The European Sales Manager will be responsible executing all sales opportunities within the relevant market place, achieved through adopting an influencing and professional approach to the customers and distributors. The Sales Manager will be accountable for planning and managing the full commercial relationship between my client and their appointed partners within the territory, and will ensure that budgets and profit targets are achieved and then surpassed. In addition, the Sales Manager will work alongside key internal stakeholders to oversee the sustainable and profitable development of the category whilst improving customer results and focusing on consumer satisfaction.
The European Sales Manager will need to come with the following key skills and experiences:-
- Strong and successful sales background
- Key account management skills along with experience of managing and influencing a distribution network across major European countries such as France, Germany, Italy and Spain
- Fluent French speaker (essential)
- Other European and International language skills
- Be from a Consumer Goods or FMCG background
- Have the ability to travel extensively for work
- Self-starter, strong outgoing character with bags of drive and hunger to succeed
- Please not this role will not be managing the UK business but the role will be based in the UK - candidates when in the UK will need to be able to commute to the South West London area
£45,000 to £55,000 per annum DOE + OTE and benefits
