Nigel Wright are working exclusively with an American health and beauty brand that have recently opened their UK subsidiary. They are looking for a Senior National Account Manager to join their team, the role of which is a combination of account management and new business development across a variety of account types including e-commerce, department stores, grocers & fashion retailers.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning

• Develop annual plans designed to drive above average growth within the accounts. Considerations to include; • • Ranging
• • Distribution
• • Display
• • Promotional program
• • Partnership marketing activity


• Establish budget, trading terms and conditions to ensure profitability within account.
• Prepare/co-ordinate sales strategy presentations for internal and external strategy meetings.

Account Relationship

• Build strong relationships with key contacts within each retailer – ensuring a multi function and multi level contact plan

Sales Forecasting

• Prepare detailed sales forecasts for all existing and new SKU’s, seeking to optimize accuracy, by account and work with sales director to actively manage inventory levels.

Order Processing & Supply

• Establish an efficient supply process
• Monitor orders coming in from each retailer
• Assist in solving any supply issues
• Resolve any invoice issues, working with the wider team

Budget Management

• Maintain budgetary control for all designated retailer investment plans.

Performance Management

• Prepare and review sales results on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis, annual basis
• Develop performance metrics for the e:comm platforms
• Develop plans to address shortfalls vs expectations



SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Relevant sales’ experience within the beauty/skincare/personal care industry
• Experience in National Account Management in the UK market particularly within e-commerce, department stores & fashion retailers.
• Must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the UK market and competitors.
• Analytical and numerate with excellent attention to detail and ability to deal with large volumes of information
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Customer and relationship focused.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Someone who is confident in developing the business and bringing new ideas to the table with strong internal and external communication capability
• Cross functional experience an asset.
• Ability to be both proactive and reactive.
• Proven negotiation skills with strong persuading and influencing abilities.
• Able to work under pressure and deliver against set timelines.
