The Company -

My client is a very cool, vibrant and dynamic Sales, Marketing and Distribution drinks business, focussing on premium spirits and they like to do things a little different. They sell a range of both Distributor and Company owned globally recognised brands.

The company has grown rapidly since its inception and are now looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to help build their business across On-Trade and wholesale.

You -

  • People person, very confident and outgoing with great idea’s – creative thinker
  • Sales Experience within the drinks industry (preferably premium spirits)
  • Highly organised at developing and retaining a successful territory.
  • Existing book of contacts with restaurants, bars & nightclubs in east Midlands
  • Experience dealing with Brand owners directly
  • Full UK driving license
  • IT literate, (Microsoft / Apple / CRM system ideally Salesforce)
  • Great relationships with bartenders and bar managers to really build relationships and get the high-end spirits on the cocktail menu’s
  • Passionate about the drinks industry, with knowledge and enthusiasm for spirits,
  • Up to date with new launches, trade shows and events

The Role -

  • Maximise both brand visibility and sales volumes in the East Midlands
  • Obtain new back-bar, cocktail and speed rail listings.
  • Develop and implement promotional in outlet / specific events to support development and drive ROS of company brands.
  • Prospect and open new accounts to meet sales targets
  • Develop a pipeline of potential and sustainable new customers to grow the account base.
  • Participate in evening and weekend promotions / events / trade shows, whilst also creating innovative ideas for events to grow the brand.
  • Produce an effective call cycle, ensuring total area coverage and achieve agreed number of calls per day.
  • Record contacts in salesforce
  • Produce monthly reports, liaise with brand owners, negotiate and secure key accounts and manage trade promotion, tracking customer spend
