National Account Manager – E-Commerce & Grocery

Head Office Based N/W London

Up to £45,000 + Benefits + Bonus

We are a boutique healthy, free from indulgent food business specialising in the production of premium products.   The focus is on indulgence, but it is also natural, healthy and versatile.  Above all else, the range is delicious and has a signature taste based on our own in-house formula and production process. 

Due to the success of the business to date we already have distribution gains in 4 of the major grocery multiples and we now require a professional National Account Manger to continue to win and further develop our business and targeting other channels such as .com customers / international retailers to name a few.

Reporting to the CEO, you will help develop the business plan and sales strategy.  You will be responsible for the delivery of this plan. As this is a mix of new business development and account management your major KPI will be to grow sales by developing relationships cross functionally, managing the promotional spend and developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy.

Ideal candidates will have an FMCG background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of modern account management.  An ability to manage complex negotiations backed up with a grasp of category management is essential.  Because the emphasis is on 50% new business development, you will be an action orientated, self starting and passionate individual with a proven ability to unlock accounts and make things happen.
